Wew, school is finally over! Now I have a lot more time to use on this project. 🙂
I re-played the game a few times and realized that… well… it kinda needed more depth. I personally love VNs set in school, but the plot of SOL is just so cliche! And it’s so similar to Gakuen Alice. Seriously. Of course the background stories of the characters are different, still, I’m afraid that people would dismiss it as, “Just another school otome.”
I already had 9000+ words before, but I cut out around 4000+ words and replaced them with a new script. Several events have also been cut from the original script., but have been already replaced. Here is the current statistics.
Statistics:
The game contains 1,272 screens of dialogue.
These screens contain a total of 8,329 words,
for an average of 6.5 words per screen.
The game contains 6 menus.
In the Spring part, everything is all light and fluffy, although some of Kazumi’s dark past will also be revealed.
By the way, have I mentioned that Kazumi has a twin?
No? Yes, she has a twin! Her twin is named Mizuka. 🙂
I think one season has a playing time of about 30 minutes already… It’s already 8000+ words and I’m only in Day 2!
Oh well. 🙂
I still don’t have any artists by the way. 😦 I sure do hope somebody comes down from heaven and helps me with this dilemma. Hahaha.
