Summer Paradise: Almost done!

When I first planned on making Summer Paradise, it was just supposed to be around 5k words. Hahaha! It was because I was inspired to create a game because of three reasons.

1. To take a break from Seasons Of Love.

2. To defeat the boredom the strikes during summer vacations.

3. To… err… well… Simply, the Simple Plan song “Summer Paradise”

And my main inspiration for making a game set in the Philippines is Ngareci’s Nacira. 🙂 Who knew that this VN would have more than 10k words? -____- It was supposed to be a week-long project, right?

The game contains 3,620 screens of dialogue.
These screens contain a total of 27,334 words,
for an average of 7.6 words per screen.
The game contains 23 menus.

Also, I was just kidding when I said James’ path was done. -___- I realized that it was all muddy and… just… unclear, so I decided to scrap some parts. I’m gonna sleep after this post, but I already had James’ concept plot written. And tomorrow I’m gonna rewrite his good and neutral paths, and then I’m done. Whew.

I loved writing Vaughn’s path though. :3

To be honest, I think people won’t be able to understand this VN. Hahaha. The story is just so… so weird, and confusing, and silly. Boring maybe? Oh, I don’t know. I can’t really tell. I love this VN so much already even if it has so many flaws. But if you guys would still like to give it a try, then I thank you from the bottom of my heart. :3

If nothing gets in my way tomorrow (bwahaha) then I think I can upload this already… so that err… it’ll be ready. Hahaha. 🙂

Thanks for dropping by. 🙂

P.S. My dad and I just finished watching Enchanted. (I forced him to sit down beside me. Hahaha. Although I think he’d rather watch sports. Still, he’s so nice to watch this chick flick with me.) I just love that scene where Giselle and Robert danced together at the ball. :3 It makes me fall in love every time I watch it. :”)
