A lot of stuff has come up these past 2 days, so I haven’t had much time for writing, haha, however, I did my best to at least write some words today.
Let’s start with Falling Hearts first, since that’s my main focus as of now~
The game contains 1,279 dialogue blocks, containing 10,368 words and 54,361
characters, for an average of 8.1 words and 43 characters per block.
The game contains 3 menus, 0 images, and 12 screens.
Pretty much okay, I should say. A bit behind the schedule, but, it’s nothing too major, I suppose. I did skip a few scenes though, to keep on writing the easy ones. It’s a great trick to combat writer’s block.
Here’s the word count for Once Upon a Hallow’s Eve:
The game contains 263 dialogue blocks, containing 2,171 words and 11,351
characters, for an average of 8.3 words and 43 characters per block.
The game contains 2 menus, 0 images, and 12 screens.
Obviously, I haven’t been working on it much. Haha. With my initial deadline for the first 10k batch of FH out of the way though, I can focus a bit more on OUHE this weekend. 🙂 There’s this artist in LSF that I really wanna work with, hahaha, so I’m trying to have something to show her and make her interested in my current project. =) I know I’m not supposed to release this until the end of October, but I guess I can do 1/3 of it until August 31st, and 2/3 of it from Sept 1st to October 30th. =) Basically, I just need to finish the main path to have something to show to the artist I’m applying to right now, hahaha.
Truthfully, I like the idea of a challenge, since whether or not we work together as a team, it’s still gonna be a win-win situation because, hey, at least I finished some writing, right? =) It’s a great motivation booster, haha.
Argh, I hope my professors won’t give us too many assignments and readings for this weekend. 🙂 I really don’t want to be all stressed out on my birthday! ^^
