First things first.
This will perhaps be one of the saddest things I’ll ever write in a blog like this, and I hope I’ll never have to write something like this ever again.
Okay. Here goes.
…just kidding. Hahaha, okay, dramatics aside, hahaha, um… wait, how do I say this, um… uh…
My laptop is dead.
Oh.
Yes, my poor, 2-year-old Lenovo is no longer in the world of the living. As much as it pains me to say this, it is now forced to spend the rest of its earthly time gathering dust in a corner.
I don’t know how it happened, and I don’t know why it happened (WHY, OH WHY?!), but yeah, my laptop is beyond repair.
Wait. Well, actually, it can still be repaired, but considering the costs, the repair man said it would be better if we bought a new laptop instead.
Given the circumstances, I now have no choice but to put all my projects on hiatus, until I get a new laptop. Which won’t be in a few months, I think.
I still have my old 7-year-old laptop with me, though, so this doesn’t necessarily mean that I won’t be able to work on visual novels anymore. While it’s true that its (1GB RAM, Intel Core Duo, integrated graphics) configuration is certainly not powerful enough to play most newly-released VNs, (I had to wait a whole year before I could play “The Pirate Mermaid” on a new laptop, because it lagged horribly on that old Dell) it’s enough for typing up scripts and stuff. So… yep. I’ll probably still write, but I’ll be taking a break from making visual novels for a while.
Anyway, sorry for sharing this (personally) sad news with you, and… hahaha, sorry for being such a drama queen. 😁😆 Hope I didn’t annoy you guys too much.
Good luck with all your projects, everyone! And keep playing, alright?
