Hello! It’s the 32nd week!
I can’t believe this, but my scheduled post which says that I’m a slacker was… published earlier on this blog. π So embarrassing! That teaches me not to be a slacker anymore.
But actually, I didn’t really slack off or anything… it just so happens that this week was my enrollment week, and oh my goodness, it was hell. A couple of friends and I had lined up for subjects starting from 8 o’clock the night BEFORE enrollment, and we didn’t even get anything. Well, some of them did get something, but most of us went home just tired. And I eventually gave up and just enrolled without having added any subjects to my list. Oh well.
Anyway, enrollment blues aside… at least I’m finally enrolled! Hahaha. I am now officially a junior student. Wow, time flies so fast, doesn’t it?
SuNoFest 2016: A nice little project
And speaking of time, I’ve decided to join the SuNoFest 2016 with an artist, Jaytee from DeviantArt! Oh, and he also has a Tumblr, right here, where he’s more active. Anyway, since the deadline is on August 31st, and since we both have our hands kinda full with some other projects as well, it’ll be just a quick little project, which we hope you guys will enjoy. π We just thought it would be fun to collaborate for a game jam, hahaha, especially since it’s going to be his first time to dabble in visual novels.
This is a preview of the characters for the new SuNoFest 2016 visual novel. π
Keepsake: Research Period
The team and I are currently on a research period, hahaha, to ensure that we come up with a high-quality and accurate story depicting Japanese culture. π Of course, it is every writer’s job to research before writing something, but it’s especially important when it comes to working in teams, because it may be that not all of you know the same information about the same thing, and researching with them will make sure that your final work will be accurate.
That’s… about it for now, really. π Hopefully, if there are any updates on OUHE next week, I can post some. But at this point in time, we’re not really in a hurry or anything, I suppose, since like I said, the script is already done, the game is already tested, and the only things lacking are some stuff from the art department like the GUI, etc. So far so awesome!
Thanks for reading this, everyone! Keep playing!
