Hi guys! Just a quick progress report, since it’s already 1:03AM here and I need to go to sleep. 🙂
Statistics:
The game contains 7,283 dialogue blocks, containing 49,518 words and 262,540
characters, for an average of 6.8 words and 36 characters per block.
The game contains 17 menus, 106 images, and 13 screens.
Surprisingly, I really enjoyed writing Landice’s route tonight. Maybe it was because I was so full of ideas and just couldn’t stop writing, or maybe because I could finally envision what I really want to happen in his route. Unlike with the other paths, I guess I just wanted to show another side of the story in Lan’s route, so it was easy to divert my efforts from strictly following a plan to just letting my creativity flow. It’s kinda amazing to feel surprised at what’s happening in your own story, you know…
Okay, I think I’m speaking gibberish now. Haha, kidding. But I’m really sleepy, so please forgive me. I would have kept writing if not for the fact that I am just super sleepy… *yawn* At least I managed to write 2000+ words tonight. 🙂
